Hardware development and PCB layout

We develop hardware for embedded systems, both analogue and digital. Today it is not only important to have a correctly operating and efficient circuit but that this and its construction respect various aspects such as electromagnetic (EMC) or safety specifications. Since 1996 we have been intensively using the Protel system for design and layout to ensure that all aspects of the electronic development are tightly controlled. Expertise in layout and production are reinforced through close collaboration with board assembly companies.

All development and construction steps are coordinated and supported by a data base system. Factory documentation is created automatically (parts lists, ordering, parts placement plans, etc.) guaranty accuracy, traceability and efficiency.

We offer also a PCB development service. If you require support by the implementation of a design in prototypes or a product, help is at hand. If you require an efficient realisation of an idea in a hardware product then you can rely on our experience and flexibility to get the job done.

 

Embedded Software

Only when the hardware is fully understood can the software be optimally implemented to suit it. On the other hand, it is necessary to fully understand the software requirements in order to prepare the best suited hardware for it.

This is our great strength when embedded development is involved. Interdisciplinary solutions - reinforced by our own operating systems - ensure the optimal solution to the problem in hand.

Our main speciality is the maximisation of the performance in systems where resources (power consumption, speed and memory restraints) are limited and critical. Communication flexibility is important and we can offer proven solutions for various interfaces such as Ethernet LAN, serial, SPI, I2C, ARCNET, HDLC, LCD etc.

Dynamic configuration and scalability are complimented by Internet support using our own TCP/IP stack.

Embedded software is traditionally written mainly in C. To ensure the highest software quality and also the shorted development times, we use a special simulation environment which we have continuously developed over several years.

It is not our goal to offer operating systems or TCP/IP stacks as products. Instead we are committed to offering the best possible solution to the best conditions and so utilise such exclusive platforms as standard parts of customers projects. Our customers pay no license or royalty fees but profit automatically from powerful, proven and stable software solutions which can be delivered faster than is generally the case in the industry.

 

PC Software

Today it is almost unconceivable - also by embedded developments - that PCs are not used somewhere in the process. What use is the most powerful control system if it is not possible to test it, configure it, calibrate it and program it comfortably from a local or network PC? Such jobs are just as important in the final solution as the control system itself and we have the necessary experience to offer them as an integrated part of the project.

In addition we create our own development software on the PC platform in order to simulate systems or debug processors.
