VIrtual Prototyping Panel (VIPpanel) Demo-Project und Specifications

Our Demo-project operates under VisualStudio C++ 6.0 or Visual Studio.NET and demonstrates an application, which was defined to run on an 8051 processor. The project utilises a simple event-driven operating system and the front panel communicates with the processor via its serial interface.

In addition we show you a possible solution as to how you can fully develop and test your software in a powerful Windows development environment (using VisualStudio). The interface to the VIPpanel DLL has been specially designed for the requirements of embedded software developers - also the low level driver and interrupt routines can be developed and tested in VisualStudio without the need for hardware to be available.

Application Note for the Demo-Project using the VIPpanel

Should you nevertheless prefer to work directly with your target hardware and your favorite development tools, then we can also offer you a solution. Simply make your design using the executable of the Demo-Project and send us the VIPpanel design file - we will send you in return a version of the VIPpanel, which you can use to connect with your target (either via the serial interface of your PC or Ethernet/LAN). This is a free service which we offer. We aim to support you and can also offer first class solutions should you encounter any problems during your development.

Once you have designed and tested your own front panel, we can make you an interesting offer for the delivery of hardware prototypes or production series meeting your requirements.

From the VIPpanel Design-Files we can process your request rapidly. We can also add customised features such as integrated temperature or humidity sensors, or a LAN interface to make your equipment Internet enabled.
